This year at Dreamforce 2018 I had the opportunity to present an advanced admin session with Roan Bear. The Session, Formulas Rule! Master Complex Assignment Rules with Formulas, addressed how admins can use formulas to better manage and optimize assignment rules.
Complex assignment rules are difficult to read and manage, and are prone to errors. Advanced admins use formulas to better manage and optimize assignment rules. The session covered best practices for assignment rule formulas including using the ISNEW() function, rule entry formulas, and when it’s better to reference formulas from related objects.
